New York City (January 30, 2009)— NYC & Company, New York City’s marketing, tourism and partnership organization, announced that NYC Restaurant Week Winter 2009 will extend through February 27. The promotion will continue at more than 150 participating restaurants, some including Sundays. Prices for the program will remain the same, with three-course prix-fixe lunches for $24.07 and three-course prix-fixe dinners for $35.00 (excluding beverage, tax and gratuity). “NYC Restaurant Week Winter 2009 was the City’s largest-ever Restaurant Week with more than 250 participating restaurants,” said NYC & Company CEO George Fertitta. “The extension opportunity has attracted more than half of the participants to remain on board through February 27, a sign of the just how well-received Restaurant Week has been among NYC diners.”



Some restaurants will now also offer value-added items to customers have such as Serafina at Time Hotel, which offers two complimentary glasses of wine with each prix-fixe meal.

—New Official NYC Information Center Provides Tips, Directions and Updates on Latest Broadway Shows—



New York City (January 30, 2009)—Inside the City’s newly opened Official NYC Information Center, NYC & Company CEO George Fertitta was joined by Broadway League Executive Director Charlotte St. Martin and actors of the Broadway productions Avenue Q and Chicago at a press conference to announce a new marketing and communications effort to stimulate Broadway, one of the foundations of New York City’s visitor industry. With the roster of long-running shows—as well as 19 new Broadway productions debuting over the next few weeks—NYC & Company will launch a new promotional effort to encourage visitors and residents to more actively support the City’s Broadway productions. During the event, Fertitta unveiled a new “Ask New York City about New York City Broadway” ad highlighting the vibrancy of Broadway. A new microsite, nycgo.com/broadway, was also announced today; the site will provide the latest information about Broadway shows and directions to theaters.



“Seeing a Broadway show is central to a visit or experience in New York City,” said Fertitta. “Despite these challenging economic times, New York City continues to present the freshest and most entertaining Broadway content for our visitors and residents to enjoy—we want to encourage tourists and residents now more than ever to support this important element of our visitor industry and to take advantage of the significant talent that exists right here in New York City.”



Close to two dozen Broadway shows will open in the coming weeks, including Guys and Dolls on March 1 (previews begin February 4), Blithe Spirit on March 15 (previews begin February 26), West Side Story on March 19 (previews begin February 23) and Rock of Ages on April 7 (previews begin March 20). For the 2008–09 season, 40 new productions will be presented, compared to 36 during the 2007–08 season and 35 during the 2006–07 season.



“There has never been a better time to see a Broadway show—as we see the normal phase-out of some Broadway shows, we are also seeing fresh new productions and new talent in the community," said Charlotte St. Martin, executive director of the Broadway League. "Now is the time to book your ticket and go see a Broadway show—and in so doing, support one of the cornerstones of our city’s tourism industry.”



In 2008, Broadway saw a record-breaking year, with $941 million in gross sales and 12.32 million paid attendance—that was up from $938 million in gross sales and 12.29 million in paid attendance in 2007 (these figures do not include Young Frankenstein gross sales and paid attendance).



NYC & Company’s new ad promoting Broadway is part of the “Ask New York City about New York City” marketing campaign. A special illustration, developed by NYC & Company creative director Willy Wong, in collaboration with agency of record Bartle Bogle Hegarty, will promote the excitement of Broadway while driving visitors and residents to the City’s newly launched web resource, nycgo.com. Beginning next month, the new artwork, depicting both comedy and tragedy, will appear on street pole banners and bus stop shelters throughout the City while a video spot will appear in taxicabs throughout the City.



Comprehensive information about experiencing Broadway and accessing the latest information on the shows can also be found at the City’s new website, nycgo.com. A special link to Broadway information can be accessed at nycgo.com/broadway. At NYC & Company’s newly opened Official NYC Information Center, Information Specialists can direct guests to neighboring theaters, make recommendations and provide information on the latest shows. These specialists can also help guests use Interactive Map Tables to choose the Broadway show(s) they want to see; guests can then email or send via SMS the listings (including theater addresses and phone numbers) to a mobile device. FAQ kiosks in the center also provide information, including directions, for visitors to the Times Square/Broadway area; this information can be emailed to a mobile device.

BRUNO JAMAIS HOSTS PARTY FOR BRAVO TV'S REAL HOUSEWIVES OF NEW YORK!


The ultra luxurious Bruno Jamais Restaurant Club in Manhattan played hosted to Bravo TV’s “Real Housewives of New York” Stars Alex Mc Cord and Simon van Kempen. The party was attended by hundreds of media who could not wait to get the latest scoop on Alex and Simon’s upcoming parenting book. “Johan, our youngest son appears more in season two because he’s a bigger boy,” “But with Francois, we have a star in the making,” said Van Kempen to a People Magazine reporter at the event. Although season 2 premiers on February 17th, media who wanted the inside scoop on the reality antics and potential catfights among the housewives were left out in the cold as Alex and Simon had to remain mum on the exciting details.

LML MUSIC released HALLWAYS, The Songs of Carol Hall
on Tuesday, March 11th, 2008 nationally in stores and online at iTunes and Amazon.com.

The CD’s critical and popular success has led to a second printing which was shipped Tuesday, January 20th nationally.

The first person ever to record one of Carol Hall’s songs was the young Barbra Streisand. Subsequently,
her songs were performed by such extraordinary singers as Tony Bennett, Barbara Cook, Margaret Whiting, Julie Wilson,
Chita Rivera, Michael Feinstein, Mabel Mercer, Amanda McBroom, Lari White, Olivia Newton-John, Maureen McGovern,
RuPaul, Miriam Makeba, David Campbell, Frederica von Stade, Kermit the Frog and Big Bird. Among others.
She’s also one of the few songwriters to have a hit Broadway show.
Her classic musical The BEST LITTLE WHOREHOUSE IN TEXAS entertained Broadway audiences for almost five years,
received a Grammy nomination for its cast album, and became a popular film starring Burt Reynolds and Dolly Parton.
Dolly’s recording of Carol’s song “Hard Candy Christmas” won an ASCAP Most Performed Country Song Award,
and the film generated an ACADEMY AWARD nomination for Charles Durning, singing “The Sidestep” as the slippery Governor of Texas.
A recent national tour of WHOREHOUSE starring the entertainment legend Ann-Margret enjoyed a run for over a year and a half.
Carol also does a lot of writing for children. Her “It’s All Right To Cry,” and “Parents Are People” continue to be favorites of generations of children.
Recently she created the score to the theatrical version of the popular children's series MAX AND RUBY.
Four tours of the show are presently playing across the country, after a successful debut opening Off-Broadway in December 2007.
However, her recent delight has been the making of her CD
HALLWAYS, The Songs of Carol Hall
which features many of her most loved and wonderful songs – both old and brand new — such as the hit “Hard Candy Christmas,”
as well as the timeless classic “Jenny Rebecca.” In addition, it features her musical collaborations with Bill Evans, Steven Lutvak, Robert Burke, Lesley Gore and Tex Arnold.

But as Carol says in the CD’s booklet, “a song is not a song until somebody sings it…”

MAYOR BLOOMBERG ANNOUNCES YEAR LONG CELEBRATION
NYC400 Week is September 8 – 13, 2009



Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg, Amsterdam Mayor Job Cohen, Dutch Cabinet Minister Frans Timmermans and NYC & Company CEO George Fertitta today announced a year of special events, exhibits, outdoor activities and performances to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the arrival of Henry Hudson aboard the Dutch vessel ‘Halve Maen’ to New York City. City officials also announced that the celebration of the City’s Dutch roots and its waterfront will culminate with a special Harbor Day on September 13. Further, the Mayor unveiled a model of the New Amsterdam Plein & Pavilion, a gift presented by The Netherlands Government to New York City, designed by Dutch architect Ben van Berkel of UNStudio, Amsterdam. The 5,000 square-foot Plein & Pavilion, a tribute to 400 years of friendship, will be permanently erected at the Battery in late 2009.



“We are proud to celebrate this momentous anniversary and the significance of the Dutch in both the rich history and vibrant future of New York City,” said Mayor Bloomberg. “We are pleased to observe the many similarities we share with our Dutch friends, including a strong sense of optimism and tolerance, and a great appreciation for diversity, design and innovation. All of these celebrations will give people one more reason to visit New York City this year. Tourism is going to be one of those industries that helps support our local economy during the recession, and we are working harder than ever to promote it.”



“With substantial expertise in the fields of water management, development and technology, as well as tourism and the wider maritime and creative industries, the Netherlands and New York City have a unique connection that links the two not only in terms of history, but also current priorities and future legacy,” said Mayor Cohen. “The NYC400 Quadricentennial Celebration signifies a commitment to preserving the memory of the discovery of New York City and also an allegiance to valuable and productive political, economic and cultural relations between the City and the Netherlands.”



“A lasting gift from the Netherlands to New York City, the striking Pavilion which will be poignantly located at the Battery, will serve as a permanent reminder of this meaningful anniversary and significant moment in history,” said Frans Timmermans. “Furthermore, the Pavilion, designed by leading Dutch architect Ben van Berkel, will symbolize the deep-rooted ties between the Dutch and New York City, as we look forward to another 400 years of friendship.”



“New York City in 2009 will be as vibrant as ever, with the festivities surrounding this exciting anniversary providing a renewed focus on our waterfront throughout the five boroughs, and even more of a reason for locals and visitors alike to take advantage of the great New York City harbors,” said George Fertitta. “We encourage both residents and tourists to enjoy all of the celebratory activities and to embrace now more than ever the City’s rich history along with the modern values shared by both destinations, in particular freedom, democracy and open-mindedness.”



The first ever Harbor Day will feature events and activities including free bike rental and ferry rides to encourage New Yorkers and visitors to enjoy the City’s waterfronts districts in Manhattan and Brooklyn and on Governors Island. Harbor Day will become an annual event to recognize and appreciate the progress New York City has made in reclaiming its waterfront and opening harbor parks and greenways, as well as in creating sustainable developments that improve habitats and preserve resources for future generations.



“This is a momentous occasion in our State’s history, as we celebrate the Hudson-Fulton-Champlain Quadricentennial from Battery Park through the entire Hudson River corridor,” said Governor David A. Paterson. “The 400th anniversaries of the exploration of our historic Hudson River and Lake Champlain celebrate our rich history, our embrace of diversity, tolerance and innovation, and our partnership with the Dutch. Perhaps most importantly, we are utilizing the occasion to focus attention on the most important legacy of all – environmental and economic sustainability starting with the next 100 years.”



In a partnership with the city of Amsterdam and the Consulate General of the Netherlands, NYC & Company will seek to strengthen tourism between the City and the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg region by celebrating the landmark anniversary year with events in both the Netherlands and New York City and by engaging hotels, airlines and tour-operators to create special packages to encourage more tourism. A key component of the NYC400 tourism campaign is a new partnership with Continental Airlines. Continental announced today that it will offer a special fare of €450 ($591) including taxes and surcharges for return flights from Amsterdam to New York. The Nightlife Awards was a fantastic evening of entertainment. No speeches, just great performances. My favorite performance of the night was by Tovah Feldshuh doing a funny comedy bit about a Jewish woman radio host with a yenta voice. It was so funny, tears were running down my face. I will post some photos of her later. All of the performances were wonderful but Mike Birbiglia and Tovah made my sides hurt from laughing so hard.
Christine Andreas "Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered" was one of the greatest singing performances of a lifetime. She is very talented and I am now a huge fan.
Christine Ebersole sang "Devil May Care" and it was breathtaking to hear her incredible voice.
It was a bewitching night.

On Monday Evening, February 23 at 7:00 PM, six New York theater institutions will participate in a special panel discussion featuring five current and upcoming Off-Broadway shows. Harlem Stage (150 Convent Avenue at West 135th Street) will host producing companies Classical Theatre of Harlem, Manhattan Theatre Club, Playwrights Horizons, The Public Theater and Signature Theatre Company in an evening titled I’VE KNOWN RIVERS: A Conversation with Christina Anderson, Charles Fuller, Lynn Nottage & Liesl Tommy.



The event marks a unique collaborative effort between six New York theater institutions: a panel discussion in which five gifted African-American theater artists – all of whom have projects happening almost simultaneously at five of New York’s most respected non-profit theaters – will discuss their lives, work, and current projects.



Moderated by actress Sabrina LeBeauf (Three Sisters, Classical Theatre of Harlem in partnership with Harlem Stage, February/March), the evening’s four panelists will be Christina Anderson (author, Inked Baby, Playwrights Horizons, March/April), Charles Fuller (author, Zooman and the Sign, Signature Theatre Company, March/April), Lynn Nottage (author, Ruined, Manhattan Theater Club, January-March) and Liesl Tommy (director, The Good Negro, The Public Theater, March/April).



The event title comes from a poem by Langston Hughes, “The Negro Speaks of Rivers.”



I’VE KNOWN RIVERS is presented as part of the Harlem Stage Partners Program, which receives lead sponsorship support from Deutsche Bank and public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts, a State Agency.

BIOGRAPHIES



Christina Anderson was born and raised in Kansas City, Kansas. Her work has appeared at Ars Nova, Mark Taper Forum, The Coterie Theater, Rites and Reason, The Public Theater, Horizon Theater, and the Playwrights’ Center. Awards and honors include Susan Smith Blackburn nomination (2007), Lorraine Hansberry Award (American College Theater Festival 2004), Van Lier Playwriting Fellowship (New Dramatists 2005-06), Wasserstein Prize nomination (Dramatists Guild 2006), and Lucille Lortel Fellowship (Brown University 2007). American Theater magazine selected Christina as one of fifteen up-and-coming artists “whose work will be transforming America’s stages for decades to come.”



Charles Fuller was born in Philadelphia. He achieved critical notice in 1969 with The Village: A Party. He later wrote plays for the Henry Street Settlement theatre and the Negro Ensemble Company in New York. He won an Obie Award for Zooman and the Sign in 1980. His next work, A Soldier's Play, was a critical success, winning the 1982 Pulitzer Prize. He later adapted the script into the 1984 film A Soldier's Story. His screenplay was nominated in 1985 for an Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award, and a Writers Guild of America Award. It won an Edgar Award. Fuller has received grants from The State of New York, the Rockefeller Foundation, the National Endowment for the Arts, and the Guggenheim Foundation. He has also written short fiction, screenplays, and worked as a movie producer. He is a member of the Writers Guild of America, East.



Lynn Nottage is the author of Intimate Apparel, which was produced in New York at Roundabout Theatre Company after its world-premiere production at Center Stage and South Coast Repertory. The play received numerous awards, including the 2004 New York Drama Critics’ Circle Award for Best Play, the Outer Critics Circle Best Play award, the John Gassner Award, the American Theatre Critics/Steinberg 2004 New Play Award and the 2004 Francesca Primus Award, and it has gone on to receive dozens of productions around the country. Her next play, Fabulation, or the Education of Undine (Obie Award) directed by Kate Whoriskey, was first produced by Playwrights Horizons and recently received a highly acclaimed production at the Tricycle Theatre in London. Both plays are published in an anthology by Theatre Communications Group (TCG). Another anthology of her plays, Crumbs From the Table of Joy and Other Plays was published by TCG, and includes Crumbs From the Table of Joy; Las Meninas; Mud, River, Stone; Por’Knockers and Poof! Her plays have been produced and developed at theaters throughout the country, including Alliance Theatre, Second Stage, the Vineyard, Freedom Theatre, Crossroads Theatre Company, Intiman Theatre, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Steppenwolf, Yale Rep and Sundance Institute Theatre Lab. She is the recipient of numerous awards, including the prestigious 2004 PEN/Laura Pels Award for literary excellence and the MacArthur “Genius” Award, as well as fellowships from Manhattan Theatre Club, New Dramatists and the New York Foundation for the Arts, where she is a member of the Artists Advisory Board. Ms. Nottage is an alumna of New Dramatists and a graduate of Brown University and the Yale School of Drama, where she is currently a visiting lecturer.

Sabrina LeBeauf was born in New Orleans, grew up in Los Angeles and currently lives in New York. Her Regional theater credits include Rosaline in Love's Labour's Lost, Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing, Helena in All's Well That Ends Well, Cordelia in King Lear and Rosalind in As You Like It at The Shakespeare Theatre in Washington, DC. Her numerous regional theatre credits include The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, The George Street Playhouse, The Goodman Theatre, The La Jolla Playhouse, The San Diego Rep., The San Jose Rep., The Arizona Theatre Company and The Chautauqua Theatre Institute. She has participated in The Sundance Theatre Lab and The Eugene O'Neill National Playwrights Conference. She was the host of “In Your Own Backyard,” a four-part series on the environment for New York Public Television, the host for E! Style Television’s “Homes With Style,” and the east coast correspondent/host for the Oregon Public Television series “Smart Gardening.” She is perhaps best known for playing Sondra on “The Cosby Show.”

DO BLONDE PUPPETS HAVE MORE FUN?




So the other day, I got an invite for an event GENTLEMAN PREFER BLONDE'S. Seems the host wanted me to invite all my blonde single women friends because they had a shortage of blonde single women. (I don't have any blonde single women friends!)




I was wondering. Do blonde women really have more fun? Should I bleach it or leave my brunette hair intact. I was just upset that men can be that superficial that they would prefer to date a bleached blonde than a fantastic redhead or brunette.




Personally hair color does not matter to me. In fact, I am currently seeing a very sexy bald man and I have no complaints.




But do blonde's have more fun?

CHAMPIONS OF THE DANCE!

Town Hall started the 2009 season tonight. It entered with a bang. IT WAS WORTH MONEY, MONEY, MONEY to see this show. All of the dances were better than one of my favorite tv shows Dancing With The Stars. I admit to being hooked on this kind of dancing and I am in awe of the talent, the bodies and the beauty of great dancing.

The shows dancers are sensational. The only flaw of the show was the cheesy announcer between each dance. It was very annoying but if you ignored that you could not help having a great time.

The dancers and the costumes were breathtaking and I wish they could make a new show for ABC CHAMPIONS OF THE DANCE.

Some of my favorite dance numbers were theater based. MONEY MONEY MONEY from the film Cabaret was a favorite as was SINGING IN THE RAIN and a number from Man of La Mancha.

Hope this production comes back again as it was a must see if you love to watch incredible performers.

I had a great time and did not want the evening to end.

So last month I was watching Rachel Ray, and her snack of the day were CORAZONAS HEART HEALTHY POTATO CHIPS that actually lower your cholesterol. I have a real love for chips and I have high cholesterol. Today I tried the Italiano 4 cheese and it is by far the best chip I have ever tasted. I will let you know if my cholesterol is lower in 28 days because they are really tasty!

Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg, Deputy Mayor for Economic Development Robert C. Lieber, NYC & Company Chairman Emily K. Rafferty and CEO George Fertitta, and Cultural Affairs Commissioner Kate D. Levin today unveiled the City’s new Official NYC Information Center in midtown Manhattan and launched nycgo.com, the new online resource for exploring New York City. The opening of the center fulfills a commitment the Mayor made in the State of the City speech, where he discussed the importance of making investments to promote culture and tourism in New York City. The information center and website are designed for both visitors and residents and will allow people to better navigate and manage their visits to and within the five boroughs. The new website offers information on hotels, dining, attractions and events, and NYC & Company joined with the City’s Department of Cultural Affairs to include on the website a calendar of New York City’s cultural events. Mayor Bloomberg also announced new corporate partnerships with companies such as Google and Travelocity to provide advanced online capabilities and with content providers such as Time Out New York, Paper magazine, the New York Observer and Greenopia for up-to-date event listings. The Mayor was joined for the announcement by Google Senior Vice President Tim Armstrong and Travelocity Chief Marketing Officer Jeffrey Glueck at the new Information Center, located at 810 Seventh Avenue between 52nd and 53rd Streets in Manhattan.

“Our City’s travel and tourism industry is as important today as ever, and we’ve invested in new tools to attract visitors and formed innovative partnerships with brands such as Google and Travelocity to promote the City to people around the world,” said Mayor Bloomberg. “And by extending these new travel resources to our residents, we are giving New Yorkers the chance to more actively take advantage of the City’s diverse and exciting neighborhoods.”

“Tourism is a cornerstone of our economy,” said Deputy Mayor Lieber. “Despite anticipated economic challenges this year in the hospitality and leisure sectors, New York City continues to be the number one U.S. destination for tourism spending while leading the nation with the highest hotel occupancy rates. It is incumbent on us to continue to offer our visitors and residents the best tools available to stimulate travel to New York City and within the five boroughs.”

The new center, designed by WXY Architecture and Urban Design Local Projects, will feature new interactive capabilities, including personalized itineraries. The center features digital NYC maps and up-to-the-minute event and venue information on attractions throughout the five boroughs. Wall-mounted multi-lingual information kiosks, available in nine foreign languages, offers information on how to navigate New York City with transportation tips and an array of services. Knowledgeable, multilingual information specialists will be on hand to help people develop a comprehensive and easy-to-follow travel itinerary through the use of interactive map tables. The center will also sell MetroCards and tickets to top NYC attractions. The visitor information center, closed in July 2008, was renovated at a cost of $1.8 million.

NYCgo.com features a comprehensive one-stop hub of information for visitors and residents, tailored to the interests of a variety of lifestyle categories, with select information available in nine foreign languages. The website, developed in conjunction with interactive agency Huge, Inc., will also feature user-generated content through a new MyNYC feature, allowing site visitors to create personal profiles, provide input on New York City experiences, rate and review venues and events, and share recommendations among users with similar interests. The site is transactional, with partners such as Travelocity and Open Table powering bookings for hotels, flights, car rentals, vacation packages and restaurants. Additionally, the website for the first time will house a dedicated cultural calendar from the City’s Department of Cultural Affairs, featuring more than 300 event and exhibition listings submitted by cultural institutions across the five boroughs.

“A New York City experience is not complete without sampling our museums and cultural attractions,” said Emily K. Rafferty, chairman of NYC & Company and president of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. “I’m excited that the Department of Cultural Affairs under the leadership of Kate Levin has formed this new partnership with NYC & Company so that visitors and residents can access the latest information on our City’s cultural events and exhibitions. No other City in the world can offer the breadth and depth of culture in one place.”

“Our goal with the new center and nycgo.com was to curate the best of what the City has to offer while providing unique and effective platforms to help maximize the NYC experience,” said George Fertitta, CEO, NYC & Company. “The synergy between nycgo.com and our Information Center technologies will expose residents and visitors to new dynamic content and information each day. By ensuring that our content is as robust as possible, we will also strive to develop a loyal following of visitors and residents.”

Through a partnership with Google, residents and visitors who stop by the Official NYC Information Center will be able to take advantage of advanced mapping technology to search and explore specific locations throughout the five boroughs. The information center and nycgo.com have integrated the Google Maps application programming interface to help visitors plan their trip in New York City or for residents to plan their night out on the town. At the center, interactive tables will allow people to plan a custom tour and then visualize it using Google Earth on the video wall. Venue and tour information can also be transferred to a user’s phone using SMS, and then visitors and residents can use Google Maps for mobile to get to their final destination. This marks the first time an end-to-end experience has been created using Google – from home to mobile device to real world exploration.

“New York City’s innovative implementation of Google tools will improve the experience for both visitors and locals,” said Tim Armstrong of Google. “Whether planning a trip on nycgo.com using Google Maps, navigating the city using Google Maps for mobile, or watching a Google Earth fly-over of your trip, we hope that this partnership will help visitors and residents take full advantage of all that New York City has to offer.”

Through a partnership with Travelocity, NYC & Company will develop exclusive vacation packages for NYCgo.com. Travelocity will serve as the nycgo.com booking engine for hotel reservations, airline tickets, attractions and more.

“Travelocity is honored to be playing such a key role in promoting tourism to New York City, one of the greatest destinations in the world,” said Jeffrey Glueck, chief marketing officer, Travelocity. “We are proud New York City has chosen Travelocity, the pioneer in online travel, for their one-stop online reservations engine.”

In an effort to expand the City’s editorial coverage on nycgo.com, NYC & Company has partnered with Time Out New York, which will offer extensive daily feeds of venue and event listings, including hotels, restaurants, shops, arts & culture, attractions & nightlife.

PASSION MANGO CHICKEN!

Well, do I have a recipe for you. Tonight it is 17 degrees outside and instead of calling for chinese takeout I decided to make my own homemade chinese.

What you need:

Your favorite veggies. I usually use fresh veggies but tonight I used a frozen mixture from Trader Joe's. My mix was asian veggies, waterchestnuts, baby corn, snow peas, carrots, stingbeans and ginger.

I used one chicken breast from Trader Joe's. It was four slender chicken breast quarters.
I steamed the chicken in my non stick Cooks Wok for 11 minutes. Then I removed the water and added the frozen veggies. In addition I added a half a cup of Mango juice and a quarter of a cup of Passion Fruit juice. Simmer for 6 minutes. Remove the mixture and add 1 teaspoon of domino's brown sugar. Then add one tablespoon of your favorite barbecue sauce and cut ginger.
Cook for 11 minutes.

To make sure the chicken cooked all the way through put the entire mixture into a microwaveable bowl and cook for four minutes.

It was scrumptious and very healthy. I did not use any fat, oil or butter.

Her very public life after her 1952 surgery was a model for other transsexuals for decades; she was ahead of her time in understanding gender identity as a social construct, and as something in need of constant iteration. She forced the world to reconsider the boundaries of personhood. In Christine Jorgensen Reveals, Bradford Louryk brings his lip-synched recreation of America’s first famous transsexual’s only recorded interview to life. My waitress, Kate was very helpful and advised I start with the Pear and Pecorino salad. It was very tasty but not anything special. My entree however was divine. I had something new.
I had the Surf and Turf and it was anything but ordinary. The three giant shrimps were grilled and seasoned with garlic. They were firm but melted in my mouth. The braised short ribs were soft and sensational with a lot of flavor. The horseradish mashed potato puree was so good I practically licked the plate. I would recommend the entree as a must try. It was one of the best meals of this year.
The salad was good just nothing exceptional. The dessert I tried was also excellent. I tried the Devil's Food cake with malt balls ice cream. It was sweet and tangy and unlike any dessert I have ever tried.
The entree was five out of five stars.
The dessert was four out of five stars and the salad was three out of 5 stars.

In this week’s Page Six Magazine – Gossip Girl star Taylor Momsen has earned a reputation as a sophisticated It girl-about-town, rubbing elbows with power players and finding her way into the gossip columns (Did she make out with her co-star? Was she hospitalized for “exhaustion”?). But there’s just one thing: She’s only 15. Page Six Magazine catches up with NYC’s biggest little lady.

On gossip column rumors that she was tipsy and making out with her 23-year-old co-star Chace Crawford at the Gossip Girl holiday bash:
“It’s like, yeah, I’m really going to go to a party with my cast and crew and all the executives at the network and dance on tables. That’s a great idea. [Tabloids] all want to make me out as this party girl, and I’m not. I’m underage! All I do is sit at home and play guitar. That’s seriously what I do.”

On being thrust into the spotlight and tabloids at just 15 years old:
“I have always been aware of the celebritiness, or whatever you want to call it, of this industry. But living it is a whole different thing than talking about it. It’s still strange when I hang out with my friends at a Christmas party and people make up lies about me.”

On her devotion to making music:“I’m a control freak, and am retarded about having everything the way I want it in terms of production. My music is like my child. I sit in my room and write for four days straight and won’t let anyone hear it until I know I can put it out perfectly. Then I’ll let people judge it. I’m not going to feel comfortable [with people] criticizing it unless I satisfy myself first.”

On her passion for fashion:
“I love Alexander Wang! Oh, and I love Balmain and this new indie designer named Gary Graham. I discovered him; he’s so edgy and different. I like the high-end people—YSL, Dior, Dolce & Gabbana. I try not to leave the house without thinking of how I am going to present myself. It’s the way I am. But I’m not a little kid playing dress up. It’s all very real.”
