First of Four Broadway By The Year Shows Slated For Popular NYC Venue
(January 18, 2007) The Town Hall’s critically acclaimed BROADWAY BY THE YEAR series kicks off its eighth smash year with THE MUSICALS OF 1947 on Monday, March 3rd at 8:00PM. Audiences will take a musical journey “back in time” for a full evening of songs from Brigadoon, Finian’s Rainbow, High Button Shoes, Street Scene, Allegro and more from The Great White Way of 1947.
The evening features Tony nominee Emily Skinner (Sideshow), Two-time Tony nominee Marc Kudisch (Thoroughly Modern Millie, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang), Drama Desk nominee Eddie Korbich (The Drowsy Chaperone), and Jeffry Denman (The Producers).
The program is directed and choreographed by Jeffry Denman, with musical direction by Ross Patterson, and is created, written and hosted for The Town Hall by Scott Siegel.

Monday, April 7 at 8pm – Broadway By The Year - Broadway Musicals of 1954
The series continues with the best of the Great White Way in 1954, featuring music from The Pajama Game, Peter Pan, The Boy Friend, Fanny, The Golden Apple, House of Flowers, and more! The show will be directed by Scott Coulter with musical direction by Ross Patterson.
Monday, May 12 at 8pm – Broadway By The Year - Broadway Musicals of 1965
The series continues with the best of Broadway in 1965. This program will include music from Man of La Mancha, On a Clear Day You Can See Forever, Do I Hear a Waltz? The Roar of the Greasepaint, The Smell of the Crowd, Flora, the Red Menace, Skyscraper, and more! The show will be directed by Marc Kudisch with musical direction by Ross Patterson.
Monday, June 16 at 8pm – Broadway By The Yearâ - Broadway Musicals of 1979
The series concludes with a musical travelogue through the best of the Great White Way for the year 1979, featuring the hottest talents in Broadway and cabaret. This program will include music from Evita, Sweeney Todd, They’re Playing Our Song, I Remember Mama, Sarava, and more! The show will be directed by Emily Skinner with musical direction by Ross Patterson.
