I was very fortunate to attend a press night of the 39 STEPS, last evening. If you are an old movie buff and you like comedic farce, the show will tickle your funnybone. I sat in the second row which was marvelous as I was on the edge of my seat. The show comprising a very talented hard working cast of 4 who amazingly transform into a cast of 20 with simple hat and costume changes. The hardworking cast are lead to greatness by the fabulous directing.
The 39 Steps should move to a permanent house and live for 39 brilliant years. It will get there one step at a time. I personally think it is a mix of the Three Stooges slapstick and the brilliance of old Hitchcock films. It is a lot of fun and good for the whole family.
The brilliant acting of this cast and fabulous creative sets and directing make it a must see for anyone who enjoys clever theater.
This show will have you gasping for air. Bring tissues to wipe off running mascara.

Pure, family entertainment. Good for ages 6 and up. 2 hours with one 15 minute intermission.
Sit in the first 5 rows to see all of the hilarious facial expressions. Bliss!
