Cited as "possibly the season's most dazzling talent show," the GYPSY OF THE YEAR COMPETITION features New York's most talented "gypsies" (chorus members from Broadway and Off-Broadway shows) in a competitive variety show.
The event is the culmination of six weeks of fund-raising when shows on and Off-Broadway engage in a friendly competition to see which show can raise the most money for BC/EFA. Awards are presented to the shows raising the most money and to the winning presentation.
Tickets are no longer available for this event online. A limited amount of tickets will be available at the “Will Call” reception table located in the lobby of the New Amsterdam Theater beginning Monday 12/8 at 3:00 PM and Tuesday 12/9 at 12:30 PM
