All of my favorite shows have been closing:
It started with Jay Johnson THE TWO AND ONLY. And then the news about FORBIDDEN BROADWAY (January 15) and HAIRSPRAY (JAN 18TH)
as well as Tony award winner SPAMALOT. (And another fun show XANADU!)
The good news is one of my favorite shows (The 2004 TONY AWARD WINNER and the little show that could beat out the powerhouse WICKED (Who kids is very POP-U-LAR!)
I am happy to report that AVENUE Q will be running at least till May of 2009.
Please buy tickets to make sure it's Broadway run will not close.
Congratulations, AVENUE Q! It does not suck to be you.
PS With Forbidden Broadway, Hairspray and Spamalot closing I will be there often.
