THE SAD STATE OF BROADWAY TODAY.

The economy has greatly hurt the theater scene today. I am very upset that many of Broadway and Off Broadway shows are closing because of the economy. I would urge you to see the following shows before they close.

HAIRSPRAY- The Tony award winning smash that has been playing a very long run will bring back Harvey Fierstein on November 11th.

Forbidden Broadway- For 27 years, Forbidden Broadway has entertained passionate broadway fans with the best spoofs of our favorite shows. Go and see Forbidden Broadway Goes To Rehab till January 15th. It is not to be missed if you love Broadway and can understand the jokes. Even if you don't get some of the insider jokes you will still be entertained.

Spring Awakening- Last years Tony Award winning brilliant winner. It is a must see for anyone who can appreciate the brilliance of Dunkin Sheik's sound. One of my favorite shows in current years.

Spamalot- A must for anyone who loves farce. Always look on the bright side of life.

I am sad to see all of these wonderful shows closing. It would be in your best interest to see all of them.

PS These shows will be missed. Especially, Forbidden Broadway which has been my favorite show for 27 wonderful years.
