THE MILLAY SISTERS – A Cabaret, a one-hour musical performance about the three Millay Sisters – Edna St. Vincent Millay, the famous one; Norma Millay, the charming one; and Kathleen Millay, the youngest, a struggling author they left behind – will return to Don’t Tell Mama for three additional performances on Friday, Nov. 30, at 6 PM; and Tuesday and Wednesday, Dec. 4 and 5, at 7 PM. Don’t Tell Mama is located at 343 West 46th Street on Restaurant Row.
Admission is $10 at the door plus a two drink minimum. Reservations are suggested by calling 212/757-0788.

Performed by Margi Sharp, who portrays Edna, and Rachel Murdy, who plays Norma, the musical cabaret weaves in tunes from 1900 through the Jazz Age as it explores the lives, loves and tribulations of the sisters who were raised by their mother in an unconventional New England .household. Poet and playwright Edna St. Vincent Millay, who insisted on being called Vincent, was the famous one. From a family of women in Maine to the Bohemian luminaries in Greenwich Village, she sped through the first half of the 20th century giddily burning candles at both ends. Leaving a string of lovers in her wake, while becoming the first woman to win a Pulitzer Prize, she eclipsed the lives of her two sisters, Norma, the charming one who founded the Millay Colony for the Arts, and Kathleen, a struggling author.
