An ex-nun from the Deep South leaves her African convent to marry a former Franciscan brother from Brooklyn and the child they had against God’s wishes struggles with existential morality in this tale of love and blasphemy; depression and the drug war; life and death; and how to offer sexual favors to famous Nazis on the air.

John Fugelsang (writer/performer) appeared on “Politically Incorrect” over 20 times. He’s performed at the US Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen and the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal. His credits include “CSI”, “Providence”, “The ACLU Freedom Files for Court TV”, “Paul McCartney’s Live Town Hall” & “George Harrison: The Last Performance for VH1”, “America’s Funniest Home Videos”, “TV411” for PBS, and the received the award for “Outstanding NYC Monologist” from the Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs at Lincoln Center.
Pam Mackinnon (director) directs Edward Albee's upcoming Peter and Jerry: Homelife, The Zoo Story at Second Stage.
