Free Movie Screening For Corine's Corner Readers!

New York, NY: Join Participant Productions, Campus Progress and GenerationEngage for a free advance screening of the film Chicago 10, which mixes archival footage and animation to look back at the eight anti-war protesters put on trial following the 1968 Democratic National Convention. Set to the music of revolution, Chicago 10 is a parable of hope, courage and ultimate victory—an inspiring and timely story of young Americans speaking out and taking a stand in the face of an oppressive and armed government.
After the screening, director Brett Morgen and writer and activist Kevin Powell will take questions from the audience about the film, the Chicago 10 conspiracy trial, and discuss the importance of social engagement.When: Monday, February 18, at 7:00 PM.
