CABARET CARES:COLOR PURPLE AND LITTLE MERMAID!

Only two more chances to see a Cabaret Cares performance. On March 24th the final cabaret cares show will take place at the Laurie Beechman Theatre. The series which has been a huge success will finish its run with the cast of the Little Mermaid. Cabaret Cares is the ongoing benefit series produced by Joseph Macchia,to raise funds for two AIDS organizations in New York.

The series brings together the best of the Broadway and cabaret community to raise funds for Broadway Cares Equity Fights AIDS and Help Is On The Way Today. Broadway Cares is the nations leading industry based AIDS grant making organization. The Other organization Help Is On The Way Today is a brand new non-for-profit that helps and assists children living with HIV and AIDS.

In 2005 Cabaret Cares raised over $9000.00 for Broadway Cares Producer Joseph Macchia is hoping to see that number grown this year. The series will conclude with a Gala Event on April 7th at the Laurie Beechman Theatre when performers from all the past shows come back to perform. The evening will include a cocktail hour,dinner,show and gift bags for everyone attending


The month of March brings performers from the shows the Color Purple and The Little Mermaid.
