BROADWAY JUKEBOX MARCH 25th!

ROBERT CUCCIOLI, CADY HUFFMAN, EMILY SKINNERSTAR IN Scott Siegel’s BROADWAY JUKEBOX At BIRDLAND on SUNDAY, MARCH 22nd AT 6:30 PM Two Tony Nominees and one Tony Award winner comprise the next all-star cast of Scott Siegel’s BROADWAY JUKEBOX. The always-brand new musical revue (because both the cast and the songs are different every week) features three musical theater stars on Sunday, March 22nd that have each starred in unforgettable shows, leaving their own indelible stamps on Broadway history. Robert Cuccioli starred in Jekyll & Hyde, receiving not only a Tony Award nomination, but a legion of loyal fans, as well. Cady Huffman took home a Tony Award as Ula in the most Tony-honored show of all time, The Producers. And the Tony-Nominated Emily Skinner starred in one of the most beloved cult classic Broadway shows of all time, Side Show.

All three stars will be appearing in Scott Siegel’s Broadway Jukebox for the first time. The musical director of Broadway Jukebox is Tedd Firth. The director is Scott Coulter. The show will be hosted by critic/author Scott Siegel who is also the creator/writer/host of the critically acclaimed Broadway by the Year series, The Broadway/Cabaret Festival, and The Summer Broadway Festival, all for Town Hall. He is also the creator/writer/host of Broadway Unplugged and The Nightlife Awards, also at Town Hall.The Jukebox show is the musical revue where Broadway’s best come to sing the best of Broadway.

Each star prepares a list of Broadway show tunes out of which the audience gets to pick a total of four numbers per singer. The doors open at 5 PM at Birdland and patrons can vote for the songs they want to hear while having dinner before the show starts at 6:30 PM. Every show has also featured at least one bonus number. After all, if you put a dollar in a jukebox, you get an extra song…Scott Siegel, the producer and host of the show said, “It is my intention, with this musical revue, to provide audiences with an opportunity to hear great Broadway music by today’s great Broadway stars in an intimate setting. It’s my goal that there will always be a place Broadway lovers can go to hear this music on a regular basis, and performed by the people who know how to sing it best.”Scott Siegel’s Broadway Jukebox is currently located at Birdland, 315 West 44th Street.
