The new Broadway Cast Recording, featuring never-before-released tracks from the show’s iconic score, is available in stores beginning today, Tuesday, June 23rd. The Ghostlight Records recording, featuring the 37-member cast and band, was released digitally via iTunes on May 26th and quickly became the #1 most downloaded “soundtrack.”

To celebrate the album’s release, the complete cast and all-star band will host an onstage CD signing tonight (Tuesday, June 23) at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th Street, New York City) immediately following the 7:00 PM performance.

Also in honor of the album release, Sirius XM Radio’s “On Broadway” Channel is devoting this entire week to HAIR, including interviews with the cast, tracks of the cast recording and exclusive backstage access.

On Friday, June 26th, HAIR will celebrate its 100th performance on Broadway. That morning, “Good Morning America” will feature a live HAIR performance in Central Park as part of their Summer Concert Series. “Good Morning America” airs live on ABC TV, 7:00 – 9:00 a.m. This concert will be open to the public; and fans interested in attending should arrive at Rumsey Playfield, Central Park at 72nd Street and 5th Avenue, beginning at 6 a.m.

Directed by Diane Paulus and choreographed by Karole Armitage, HAIR features a book and lyrics by Gerome Ragni and James Rado and music by Galt MacDermot.
