Creative Block is a huge multidisciplinary arts event that will include burlesque, digital art, performance art, dance & fiber arts from New Yorks creative emerging artists & avant-garde underground.
Running in tandem w/ the 54th Annual Obies Awards ceremony, Creative Block will be held in Webster Halls rooms w/ diverse & innovative talents from across many disciplines, adding to both the fun & spirit of the Obie Awards.
Michael Musto who chronicles nightlife, society & the arts for the Village Voice where he writes the weekly column La Dolce Musto http://www.villagevoice.com/columns has been named a host & spokesperson for Creative Block.
The evening will culminate w/ a celebratory after-party featuring the well-known DJ Randy Bettis.
Randy has a theater background & has garnered a loyal following from his work @ legendary NYC nightclubs such as Sound Factory & Stereo.
