(September 22, 2009 – New York, NY) September Back2Broadway Month continues with the next Star Chats: where Broadway stars and insiders reveal what happens on stage and behind the scenes. “Leading Ladies” is comprised of five TONY AWARD - WINNING ACTRESSES who are in current or upcoming shows! Laura Benanti (In the Next Room, or the vibrator play); Sutton Foster (Shrek the Musical), Beth Leavel (Mamma Mia!), Bebe Neuwirth (The Addams Family), Alice Ripley (Next to Normal) and moderated by the American Theatre Wing’s Howard Sherman.


As with other weekly FREE EVENTS including Broadway Karaoke, Broadway Dance Studio, Theater Tours, and more, the Star Chats panels are a celebration of the new Broadway season.

The Star Chats: Leading Ladies will be broadcast as the opening program of American Theatre Wing’s 31st season of "Working in the Theatre."
It will be the first time in three years that American Theatre Wing’s “Working in the Theatre” will be taped with a live audience, as a direct result of working with the League as part of the Back2Broadway program.
